４年となる鉄道イベントが開催されており、今年のテーマは「鉄道がつなぐ1970年大阪関西万博2025年大阪・関西万博へがテーマ」で、鉄道が持つポテンシャルを最大限にし多くの人に鉄道を知ってもらうという趣旨で行われました。約115の企業や団体がブースを出展し、JR貨物のブースではパンタグラフの昇降体験や、制服体験、EF６６型電気機関車の運転台を模した模型体験エリアも設けられ機関車を運転した人には記念のカードが渡されていました。鉄道の様々なグッズを販売する会社のブースもたくさんあり、鉄道ファンや家族連れでにぎわいました。イベントは明日まで開催されています。

A railway event, held for the first time in four years, attracted numerous families on a sunny autumn holiday. The theme for this year was “Connecting Railways: From the 1970 Osaka Expo to the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.” The event aimed to showcase the full potential of railways and educate a large audience about them. Approximately 115 companies and organizations set up booths, offering various activities.
At the JR Freight booth, visitors could experience the elevation of a pantograph, try on uniforms, and explore a model area simulating the driver’s cab of the EF66 electric locomotive. Those who operated the locomotive received commemorative cards. Many railway companies had booths selling a wide range of railway-related merchandise, creating a lively atmosphere with railway enthusiasts and families. The event will continue until tomorrow
